What advice could you give a person preparing for an interview? What is some of the testing that may take place?
The process normally involves at least 3 interviews, usually 5. They normally do an initial screening interview to help narrow down candidates. If you're in school, these may be on campus interviews otherwise it will probably be a phone interview. If you pass this first round, you'll be invited to the office where senior managers and partners will interview you. Normally there are 2 case studies and 1 behavioral interview. For preparation of the interview, I would highly recommend looking through the samples that are on the Deloitte website. They are pretty close in format to what the interview is like. Think through the questions and talk through your answers. Connect with the interviewers. You might be invited to some dinners to get to know people. Take that chance to 'interview' Deloitte and see if it's what you like. The interviews will change depending on what you're interviewing for. This is for Deloitte consulting on the technology side but the process may be more technical if you're interviewing for a Deloitte Digital studio role and may be different for tax, advisory, audit, etc.
