Hi Andy. I always hear about tech companies that are looking for "young" talent. I am 32 and a junior CS Major with no experience in the tech industry.
The biggest disadvantage is to look back and have that weight down on you. You're halfway through your education in one of the fastest growing industries ever. Work hard, learn as much as you can, and swing for the fences. You have 30+ more years in your career, which is plenty of time to have meaningful impact. Bill Gates was the CEO of Microsoft for 33 years. Steve Jobs was the CEO at Apple for 9 years (first time around) and then 11 years (second time around).
