Our vision at Penn School of Nursing is to be the preeminent intellectual and transformative force in improving health through nursing. Our mission is to make a significant impact on health by advancing science, promoting equity, demonstrating practice excellence, and preparing leaders in the discipline of nursing. Penn School of Nursing is well-positioned to accomplish our mission and vision. We are in an excellent interdisciplinary and interprofessional environment; one of 12 Schools in a leading university. The University of Pennsylvania promotes innovation, impact, and inclusion – areas that nurses have and will continue to lead. We have a legacy of leaders and accomplished faculty who are transforming health and health care. Finally, we have highly talented and motivated students who work with us and challenge us every day – and for that – we are grateful! As a School, we take on the responsibility and challenge of improving health and health care for individuals and communities through science.
