I have just my master's degree and don't have any engineering degree. So how to boost my performance to outshine others
Utilized what you know best.
There is a serious advantage for hybrid developer who specialize in a business area or other discipline who know programming as well.
I don't know what your master's degree is in, but let's pretend it is in something like biology.
Seems unrelated to software development, but not if you start applying for software development jobs within companies that have a large focus on biology related business.
Think about it, every company, today, need software developers. If you have some other specialization, just find the companies that typically would hire people from you specialization or degree and apply for software development jobs with them--you'll have a distinct advantage.
