I have taken a few courses and received certificates for my competed classes, and I was wondering if it makes any difference putting this on my resume. What do recruiters/engineers think?
I say yes because it shows initiative. However, you want to show what you have actually done!
People care more about what you have done than what you have "learned." So just know that if you focus too much on this, it might make them wonder what you are actually capable of. So try to list skills and education that you can give examples about.
+1 Having your projects reflect your skills is definitely important. Well said Juan.
