What breaks or makes an architect's career? Did you have a jumpstart or is it through connections that you were able to get bigger projects?
My father was an Italian immigrant. He came to this country when he was 15 years old and was a blue collar average working American. I was the first person in my family to attend college. Very few people get the "golden spoon." It is like most things in life. Hard work and determination have more to do with it than luck of a hand down.
