The work will be cyclical. Sometimes it really does take a heroic effort to pull something off -- but it can't always be like that or people will burn out. It think it is important to make sure everyone understands *what* we are trying to achieve and *why* we are trying to achieve it. When individuals and teams understand how what they are working on directly impacts the company's success, they can be incredibly self-motivating. I think you have to harness that passion. So communicating well, and recognizing and rewarding success are important elements for building successful teams.
