  • What are your thoughts about Kobe Bryant as a NBA player?

Do you think he's legendary or do you think Stephen Curry is stepping up to fill that spot?

    Hi Eddie,

My apologies for a long awaited reply, although in a way, the delay was kind of intentional.

Kobe Bryan, what a story and what an epic ending to his colourful basketball career. I consider myself being very fortunate to witness Kobe’s rise from day one he entered the NBA, as well as when he has waved a very last farewell.

There are many opinions and views on Kobe’s legacy as a basketball player. Some a very positive and some not as much, but as we all know, you are not going to please everyone.

Kobe’s achievements and all the records he holds, definitely a good enough argument to elevate Kobe and position him next to all-time basketball greats like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan.

I will not list all the Kobe’s individual and team achievements as this “literally” could take some time, but if anyone has any doubts about Kobe’s greatness, I would suggest to Google it…

And if that has not convinced anyone, please watch the very last game that Kobe played! What happened that night in LA at the Staples Center, a fairy tale performance with an ending that could not be written even by the best!!!

    The Black Mamba is out...

Comparing Steph Curry and Kobe Bryant, not something that I would attempt, at least not yet…

    All the best, coach MD
