Combined BS to DNP or Master of Entry to Practice to DNP

Johns Hopkins once used to have an entry to practice program (combined BSN/MSN) where students could graduate as nurse practitioners if they did not major in nursing. Columbia, Yale, UPenn and several other schools offer a similar program. As a Baltimore native I was looking forward to applying to this program at Hopkins; however, it has been discontinued as of last year. Do you plan on bringing back a similar program to Hopkins anytime in the future?

We are raising the bar and will be offering MSN/DNP with limited increase in length. Our Masters Entry into Nursing is a pre-licensure program.

Please look at the website and reach out to one of our student counselors.
