MSN or NP??? Maybe both?

I am a new grad working med/surg at a large local hospital that provides education incentives after six months of employment (i.e. they pay most of the tuition costs), nursing is my second career and I really want to continue my education but I'm not sure if teaching is for me or patient care... Advice?

I think it is not an either or question. You can combine patient care in both the DNP and PhD programs and have an opportunity to teach. I would seize the opportunity as it will afford you more opportunities in both the clinical and academic settings.
