  • Any advice for a small school in the U.S that isn't actively targeted by large tech firms?

What can I do to make myself more visible to employers? Should I focus more on networking and applying to jobs or getting better at coding for a back-end position?

Based on my personal experience and what I've seen, I think a small target school just means there won't be active recruiters, but you don't necessarily have a disadvantage when it comes to applying directly to the position. Believe it or not, school names are not as impressive to employers as is experience.
