When did you realize your talent for voice overs?

Was doing voiceovers a result of your own recognition of starting a career from it or was it a result of someone approaching you to try it?

I was a jingle singer, doing a lot of studio work, and one day the voice talent didn't show up. The studio owner asked me to read the script, since I "didn't have an accent," and I discovered I had a knack for it. I got a voice coach, then an agent, and a new career path was born!
