What are the three books that you have written? How do you like being an editor? What is Cosby Media Productions? How do you find time to teach school also?
Thanks for your questions, Pam.
I have written two books in the Spirit Lake series (Spirit Lake and The Wrong Fairy Tale), along with a non-fiction book titled: The Teen Reader's Journal.
I really enjoy being an editor, even when it gets overwhelming from time to time. There is always something to learn and improve, and I love that part of the job. I also like working with talented writers/authors.
Cosby Media Productions is a media company that has a publishing division. You can find out about the company at: www.cosbymediaproductions.com.
I wouldn't say I "find time" to teach; rather, I find time to edit and do everything else I'm involved in with the publishing field. My full-time job is teaching (for now), so that always comes first. I'm very busy, but I am disciplined with my schedule, so I make time for as many things as I can. I've been teaching for a very long time, and I've been in publishing for about 5 or 6 years now. You begin to learn shortcuts and how to be more efficient when you put in that kind of time, therefore I suppose that's the edge or advantage I have in getting stuff done. :)
