Asides from the origin of the name and its distinction from Verdana and MS Sans, were there any letters you particularly spent a lot of time finding a solution for or that you are very proud of? Or any other contributing factors/stories/inspiration that influenced the making of the typeface?
There isn't much more I could add than what is on the wiki page.
It basically was a project I did after working on the first group of fonts with Matthew Carter and Tom Rickner. My boss Bill Hill told me that since we finished Tahoma, Verdana and Georgia, why didn't I design another typeface that would work with them.
